Whilst Sensei Merv was supervising the Kata Focus Class between 9.00 and 11.00am, Sensei Roy was getting a different group ready for the first club walk of the year. This first walk was to be from Portchester to the Burger van at the top of Portsdown hill.
One of the juniors describes the walk.
"My walk
My name is katie I went on a walk with my karate club I made some new friends.
On the way there we sore a dead rabbit lying on the floor. And there was some poo there we called it the poo heven. Finally we got there and we sat on a big log with a burger and a pepsi and it was delichos. Then we walked back and there was dogs with us I held one of the dogs I held cookie
the dog.cookie was a small dog and she was very cute.
I enjoyed my walk and hope to go with my family and show them the way we walked.
Interesting to note that the youngsters were the least tired
After a good walk a beefburger is just the thing.
and so the return journey
Sensei Dave acting the "sheperd" part. Only problem being that he forgot the way!
The next club walk is scheduled for Sunday 26th February and will be for all ages.
