To all Portchester Karate Club members and visitors.
I have been inquiring about hall hire for some resumption of dojo training. The following reply clearly shows that it is to early.
Please note the QA hospital reference.
Some clubs may re open, but in common with the majority of those running clubs my advice to Portchester members is not to resume dojo lessons just yet.
If you do decide to dojo train, please double check your insurance and instructors insurance is valid.
Please either carry on doing your self practice at home or outside, or join the regular zoom lessons. Your choice of course.
As soon as it is considered safe by the experts, we will resume.
"Dear All
Trustees have decided that under the current tier categorisation (2) and the restrictions within that tier not to open the hall for use. Users health is always forefront for any decision and we believe the risk with the age guidance and not socialising guidance is too restrictive to open. We have also taken into consideration reports from QA hospital COVID rates and the rate of infection in Fareham.
We will relook at this decision again after the 16th when the tiers might be change."
