SEKU Championships May 30th 2011.
With the Championships coming at the end of the school Easter Holidays and the Royal wedding, bank holiday, the overall entries to the SEKU annual Championships were lower than usual. However whilst the quantity was down, in no way was the quality diminished.
With entries from as far as Saltash and Plymouth the day proved to be very exciting and for Sensei's Dewey and O'Donnell, (the joint organisers and the two senior grades of SEKU) very pleasing in that the trophy winners were from a wide range of clubs.
All of Portchester's entrants achieved finalist status and left with a trophy.
For Denzel it was his first Championship and although very nervous at the commencement, settled down and went through to achieve two trophies.
