Sandan Dilpoma Presentation. 16th August 2017.
Darren was presented with his Sandan (3rd Dan) Diploma last night. Darren started his Karate journey in 1983 and like so many fellow karateka his progress was inturrupted with the usual other responsibilities of life. During a nine year stint in Cyprus, Darren studied Taekwondo and apart from learning a great deal formed many new friendships.
Darren is another example of how it is possible for the many karateka that have their training inturrupted with work, etc, to still make progress and achieve.
The message really is that for all those karateka that have to take "club training" breaks. the opportunities are there for you to re engage at one of the many good Karate clubs in there home area. The organisation is irrelevant.
