On Wednesday the 10th December, we started the club internal competition. The idea is that the club membership is divided into several sections (this year there are five) and each section competes on a "round robin" basis. Each contestant having a minimum of four rounds.

Those contestants winning most rounds go through to the final. The main objectives in using this method is that students get the opportunity to gain more experience, compared with the straight "knockout system". Also if members are absent on the night of the competition then they get the chance in the following few sessions to take part.
