Kata Focus Class on 20th December 2015

The final Kata Focus class of 2015 was held on Sunday 20th December and despite illness and Christmas family commitments etc, twenty seven Black and Brown belts attended the class from as far as Winchester, Uxbridge, Bognor regis and Newport IOW.

Gojushiho Sho was the subject kata and all appeared to make good progress in their respective understanding of the Kata. The Brown belts of course concentrated on the various combinations. Various applications of the differant combinations (Bunkai) were practiced and some of the senior grades contributed to the various interpretations.

Karate Day time lessons

These classes are for a range of people with varying abilities and in particular for the older and fairly active person that would like to benefit from the health aspects of practicing Karate and at the same time exercising their minds in the learning of new skills.

Existing students of Karate are also catered for in the lessons. In particular those on shift work and others that cannot get to their regular training lessons.
